Ladies Retreat Week (Canada)
Madawaska Kanu Centre Logo

Departs: Jun, Jul,

Length: 5 days

Kayaking / Canoeing - Ladies Retreat Week - ONThe ultimate women's whitewater week with the spa approach to paddling: exercise, learning, fun, conditioning, good food, camaraderie and rejuvenation in a stunning environment. The week will consist of a learning environment for both whitewater canoeing and kayaking - enhanced by morning yoga, afternoon stretching sessions on the river’s edge, après-paddling sauna and a dip into our wood-fired hot tub after the day on the water. The week also boasts fun sessions that you can choose to join: a nutrition seminar specifically for women, or learn how to start gradually running barefoot with Jill Pomeroy, a watercolour painting workshop with Claudia. As always we have the highlight of a Canadian wine and artisan cheese pairing lead by our Ontario wine connoisseur Astrid Neuland during an afternoon by the lake followed by a BBQ for us by the fantastic MKC kitchen crew. Everyone will also receive a sports massage at some point during the week.
