 Makers of the World's finest wooden paddles and oars since 1858. For over 150 years we have been traditionally handcrafting our solid wooden paddles in Orono, Maine. Using the finest woods and time tested designs, each paddle is custom made by our master craftsman. The most important element in the manufacture of our products is the hand and eye coordination of the craftsmen who make them. There are faster ways to make them; there are easier ways to make them; but we firmly believe that there is no better way to make them. We are proud to be Shaw & Tenney.
