My story is not so much about the boat as QCC's service. In summary, anything good you have heard about them is true and even better. I am in Canada, I bought / imported a 700. I tried it and it did not work. They went out of their way to make the return easy. If anyone out there is not so sure about the 30-day satisfaction guarantee, you can sleep at night. It's 100% for real. As far as Canadian customers are concerned, there is one issue to be aware of and that is absolutely not caused by QCC. It has to do with the fact that the boat has to be imported to Canada. This requires the services of a broker. There is a 100$ fee for this. If you send the boat back, you will not get this fee back. Also, the provincial sales tax and the GST are paid at the point of entry into Canada. They are not paid to QCC. If you return your boat to QCC, they will refund you the purchase price. However, you will need to request a refund of both taxes separately. This is not fun and is time consuming. This should not be an impediment to buying the boat. However, it makes the 30-day test paddle potentially expensive. Especially if there are large swings on currency conversion. My hat's off to Phill at QCC for his outstanding service.
