I have owned my Guide for almost 4 years, and I have never regretted buying it. I primarily use it as a fishing platform on flat water and medium streams, and I can't imagine a more stable canoe. I have fished with kids, the wife, big fat guys, new paddlers, etc. and I have never tipped this boat. The PolyLink hull is unbelievably tough and this thing handles great. The only reason I give it a 9 is the weight. I'm not one of those burly dudes whose reviews talk about how easy it is to hoist this boat. I'm an old guy with a bad shoulder so it's a struggle getting the Guide on top of my 4Runner, but it's worth it. Highly recommended for fishing and general recreation. |
