Submitted: 12-13-1998 by Jerry The Solstice GTS is a terrific rough water travelling kayak, if you like stiff tracking. It is a great downweather boat for going in a straight line. Comfortable, very stable for its beam, and surfs wind waves beautifully. It is also unaffected by wind. Easy to hold direction even in strong beam winds. You don't have to paddle on one side. However, if you want to change direction, for example, turn 180 to help a friend, you have some work cut out for you.
