Submitted: 08-23-1999 by STH Nice enough ride but I had a huge problem with oil canning. Took me a week with a car jack to remove bottom dent caused by dealer strapping kayak to my car top. Also does not float as high as Old Town Heron, which causes it to hit bottom in very shallow water, while the Heron, with same load, floats merrily along. Current Design needs to stiffen the bottom.
