Submitted: 06-26-2001 by Steve I hate my ot Guide Canoe. I bought it specifically for safety for my 2 children but found that the canoe tips very easily. And does not float very well at all. It will float itself at water level, but if you hold it, it sinks. I don't understand all these rave reviews. I have been in many canoes, including lincoln fiberglass, and various aluminums. I find this canoe very tippy, and hard to get into and out of. I am very afraid to let my 11 and 12 year old use it. I am going to sell it after two years of trying.
