Submitted: 06-12-2000 by Mike Burns Owned kayaks,switched to canoe due to age(older) and novice wife. Took wife and new Guide to local lake, 1 1/2 foot swells, wind 30 knots boat worked well wife felt safe. Then down the river in front of house and she was hooked. We can roof load but not easily, goes easily into the back of full size pick up. All in all very good stable, comfortable, inexpensive, tough general purpose canoe. A 'best buy'.
